Dr hab. n. med. Izabela Strużycka

Graduate of the First Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry Division, Medical University of Warsaw. After graduation, she began her professional career at the Medical University of Warsaw and has been a research and didactic employee of the University ever since.

She holds a first degree specialization in General Dentistry and a second degree specialization in Conservative Dentistry with Endodontics. She defended her dissertation entitled “Possibilities of predicting individual caries risk”, with honors. She was awarded the postdoctoral degree in medical sciences after submitting the dissertation entitled “The occurrence of caries and phenotypic and genotypic characteristics of streptococcal caries strains in the population of 12-year-old children in Poland”.

Head of the Department of Integrated Dentistry, Medical University of Warsaw and Voivodeship Consultant in Conservative Dentistry with Endodontics for the Masovian Voivodeship.

Doctor and academic teacher with many years of clinical and didactic experience, supervisor and reviewer of bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral theses. She has been a teacher for many generations of dentists. Teaches students an integrated, holistic view of the patient. She has written numerous scientific articles on conservative dentistry and periodontology, as well as presented at conferences and congresses in Poland and abroad. In total, more than 400 publications in national and international journals, conference reports, presentations and speeches in Poland and at international scientific symposia. Active member of numerous scientific societies in Poland and abroad, including Polish Dental Association, PTEMD Sapienta, International Association of Dental Research, Regional Development Program Committee of IADR USA, Pierre Fauchard Academy.
